We will be at the Indian Ladder Site.
Please check the website or call 866-650-3707 to check for cancellations or rescheduling prior to the event if the weather looks threatening
Remember to bring picnic gear (chair, plates, utensils, cooler, cups) as well as a bag to carry out your trash (this is a carry-in carry-out site). Sun screen and/or a hat would be a good idea as well.
All are welcome. No special dress required.
Litha marks the Summer Solstice which is the longest day of the year and the height of the Sun's power. From this point we enter the waning part of the year as the days grow shorter. It is the end of the reign of the Oak King and the start of the reign of the Holly King. It is the time of nurturing all that we have sown and is a God Sabbat. For our celebration, the wheel turns and the calling of quarters begins in the South.
